The Tennessee Titans selected Georgia Tech defensive end Derrick Morgan with the No. 16 overall pick.
The Titans made upgrading their pass rush a priority, especially after some of the offseason losses.
Tennessee was hoping to grab Jason Paul Pierre, but the New York Giants took him one spot before them.
Morgan is definitely the more polished of the two defensive ends, but he does not have the same upside.
Either way, the Titans should at least get some kind of solid production out of Morgan, who can come in and start immediately.

The Tennessee Titans have traded running back LenDale White to the Seattle Seahawks for draft picks.
The Titans said the trade wasn’t really made because of issues with White’s attitude despite the fact he was known for being late to team meetings.
Head coach Jeff Fisher said that it was clear that White wanted more playing time but really wasn’t going to get it behind star Chris Johnson.
The coach went on to say that he thought White handled everything pretty well given the circumstances of losing his starting job and significant playing time.
White will now have a chance to go out to Seattle and be productive while reuniting with former college head coach Pete Carroll.

The Tennessee Titans 2010 schedule has been released, and it looks like last year’s near miss of the playoffs could be made up for this season.
The Titans started off 0-6 last year, but it would be the biggest surprise in the NFL if that happened again.
The Titans open up the season at home against Oakland, which almost completely eliminates any chance of another dreadful start. The Pittsburgh Steelers then come to town without Ben Roethlisberger, which is a gift from the scheduling Gods.
Things do get tougher during the middle of the season with a stretch at Dallas and Jacksonville, home against Philadelphia, and then back on the road against San Diego and Miami.
It also doesn’t help that four of the team’s final six games are against division rivals Jacksonville and Indianapolis. However, that could work in their favor if they fall behind in the divisional race, as it will give them a chance to catch up to the leaders.

Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson is not attending the team’s voluntary offseason workouts.
Johnson also did the same thing last year and seems to believe the extra rest is the key to his big numbers.
The star running back has also already begun to express interest in receiving a new contract.
Johnson isn’t causing a big stir yet, but that could be something to watch out for in the future.
Fellow running back LenDale White has not signed his tender and is also not taking part in the workouts.
