The Tennessee Titans continued their midseason surge with a 20-17 victory over the Houston Texans.
Chris Johnson once again topped the 150-yard rushing mark and LenDale White found the end zone.
Quarterback Vince Young continues to be a caretaker in the offense and make just enough plays to keep the defense honest.
The defense did the rest, shutting down Houston’s running game and turning them into a one-dimensional offense.
If the Titans can must together a couple more wins, the talk about a run at the wild card will begin.

Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams has been fined $250K by the NFL for flipping the bird during the team’s win over the Buffalo Bills.
Adams could be seen in his owner’s suite flipping the bird numerous times toward the Buffalo sideline.
The owner apologized for his actions and said he would accept whatever punishment came his way, but this was a big hit to the wallet.
Ironically enough, commissioner Roger Goodell spent part of the game in the suit with the owner.
He was there as part of a campaign to make football games a more family friendly event. Good to see Adams did his part to help out the cause.

The Tennessee Titans broke open a close game late en route to a 41-17 beating of the Buffalo Bills.
It was a monster day for running back Chris Johnson, who had two touchdowns and more than 200 yards combined rushing and receiving.
In fact, Johnson had more than 100 yards each of rushing and receiving, making him the team’s leader in both categories on the day.
Tennessee turned a close game into a blowout in the fourth quarter by intercepting two passes and running each back for a touchdown.
The Titans have now won three straight and clearly gaining some momentum after a terrible start to the season.

The Tennessee Titans used another big day on the ground to run past the San Francisco 49ers, 34-27.
It was a surprising victory for the Titans given the test quarterback Vince Young faced in the 49ers defense.
Nonetheless, running back Chris Johnson carried them to a victory with more than 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
In fact, Johnson’s two touchdowns were the first he scored from inside the 50-yard line this season. Amazing!
The Titans have now won two straight and have some momentum heading into the second half of the season.

The Tennessee Titans came off their bye week re-energized and managed to pick up their first win of the season in a 30-13 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Quarterback Vince Young got the start over veteran Kerry Collins and did a nice job managing the game.
Most of the work was done by running back Chris Johnson, who broke off two long touchdown runs on his way to accumulating more than 200 yards on the ground.
The defense also played very well outside of two big touchdowns runs from Maurice Jones-Drew.
Everyone expected a big day from David Garrard, but the Tennessee pass defense was much improved.
